Words of Change is a youth empowerment book.
Briefing: Design a book cover (front and back) that relates to St. Martin’s cultural heritage and black history.
Results: The final design shows a bare flamboyant tree which is a cultural symbol for the Dutch Caribbean island. The tree trunk resembles human figures rising up. The color scheme mirrors the shades of a flamboyant tree.
